For 56 years, New Music Concerts has brought bold and unforgettable music to Toronto, helping shape the story of contemporary music in Canada and beyond. This season, we continue that legacy with four landmark projects that celebrate some of the most exciting artists and ideas of our time.

Composing While Black brings the internationally acclaimed International Contemporary Ensemble to Toronto. Georg Friedrich Haas's in vain offers one of the most extraordinary concert experiences of the 21st century. The Relatives Ensemble brings together leading Indigenous artists from across Turtle Island. MAKEWAY showcases the imagination and creativity of the next generation of composers and performers.

Together, these projects explore what it means to build a living canon: music that speaks to today while inspiring tomorrow. Whether you are discovering contemporary music for the first time or have been listening with us for years, we are delighted to welcome you.
