One of the world’s great new-music ensembles comes to Toronto for a special concert and discussion led by renowned composer George E. Lewis. Composing While Black brings together bold, expressive music, lively public conversations, and a major concert featuring Yaz Lancaster, Corie Rose Soumah, Marcos Balter, Joshua Uzoigwe, Beth Coleman, and NMC Composer-in-Residence Rashaan Allwood. It is a rare chance to hear extraordinary artists at the centre of today’s international music scene, right here in Toronto.
