"We are very pleased to announce the Mary Morrison Vocal Performance Fund. Mary Morrison has generously provided a substantial gift to NMC that will support performance opportunities for vocal artists wishing to pursue careers in contemporary music. As a celebrated soprano herself, Mary has been an integral part of NMC's history with many brilliant performances from our stage in addition to being a regular supporter of our activities over many years. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Mary and her daughter Karen to learn how this generous contribution could be put toward a meaningful purpose celebrating Mary's legacy.

We are thrilled that the gift will support exceptional vocal artistry in contemporary music for the coming years at NMC. The Fund will showcase promising early-career artists with a passion for contemporary performance in addition to supporting our main-stage solo vocal artists who will perform repertoire with a prominent solo vocal part. NMC is thrilled that the Mary Morrison Vocal Performance Fund will continue Mary's remarkable support and friendship with our organization while also supporting the performance of our incredible contemporary vocal artists."
